Jason C. Carter, DMD

Dr. Jason Carter grew up in northern Maine, where he developed a lifelong love of the outdoors. Short summers were spent exploring nearby fields and forest trails and long winters meant cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and lots of inside time. Dr. Carter dedicated a lot of his childhood building models, woodworking, and helping his father fix most anything.

After over a decade of experience as a hospital-based ICU nurse and outpatient Adult Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), he decided on a career switch to dentistry. Dentistry provided a perfect combination of medical and problem-solving experience with creativity, artistry, and hand skills.

Academic & Professional Activities

Dr. Carter graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry with high leadership and academic distinction, being named to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. 

In addition to his skills in restorative dentistry and root canal treatments, Dr. Carter is an experienced Invisalign provider and has achieved additional training in surgical treatments, implants, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Carter's two dogs, Dallas (Cavachon) and LeeLoo (German Shorthaired Pointer) who are named after movie characters.

Outside
the Office

Dr. Carter enjoys spending time with his wife, Angela, and their three grown children as well as watching classic movies. He and Angela have fun and stay busy with their two dogs, Dallas (Cavachon) and LeeLoo (German Shorthaired Pointer) who are named after movie characters.  

A lifelong competitive athlete, Dr. Carter enjoys endurance sports including triathlon and events that combine trail running and tactical shooting.
